It's about waking up in the mornning and smelling the first rain
its about being happy to be awakened by the sunshine
at the begining of a new day, its about being asked the reason
for your happiness by a precious princess with an innocence
that knows no pain, its about having the urge to dance
always...

It's about never wondering how much time has passed
or never looking back on what didnt last, its about fufilling
your dreams no matter how hard they seem, its about
holding on and finding enough courage to let go, its about
never looking at life through someone elses window

It's about dancing in the rain knowing that its filling your heart
with everlasting joy not sorrow or pain, its about how I find it everyday
because of children who really know the way...

It's about rising with the lark knowing the day is your own
It's about feeling the warm sun on your skin knowing
the sunrays are touching your soul, its about standing
at the top of a mountain and screaming your name
if only to hear your own voice is undeniably great

It's about being who you are come what may
It's about taking chances and making mistakes
its about knowing your strenght and the lenghts you
will take to being independant no matter the stakes

It's about laughing and smiling the whole day through
It's about knowing you have the right to be happy even if
its just for you...

It's about letting your eyes dance with a sparkle and gleam
It's about chasing a butterfly into the night just to learn about
his erratic flight.

Dedicated to Martina, your wisdom always helps me soar to greater heights this is as happy as it can get for now, but soon you will hear me singing much more louder in the shower
